Magical Melted Crayon Art

So five years later (or close enough), I finally decided it was time to join the little blogging world and post my first blog.   Exciting, I know. So anyone that knows me knows that I frequently mention ideas from Pinterest in regular conversation.   And if you don’t know what Pinterest is, well that is such a shame!   You must check it out, http://www.pinterest.com/ .   But only if you are prepared to spend endless hours dreaming of the most wonderfully amazing ideas and wishing that you had time and the resources to make them all happen. Anyways, from Pinterest I saw many pictures of art that people made from melted crayons.   Mesmerized by this, I decided that it was most definitely necessary that I give it a try.   So I forcibly enlisted my little sister to assist me with this endeavor. Oh lucky day!   Based upon all of the fabulous searching online, I came up with a plan:   to use some sort of coordinating color scheme rather than the entire rainbow and to create some additional l

So my sisters may be upset with this post, but only because this whole blog was their idea and they do not know I have since created it and am now blogging.... however I think they will get over it :) Ok ok ok I know this post will not be relevant again until Halloween rolls around next year, but hey - deepfriedunicorn didn't exist until today and I wanted to share my cake pop success anyway. Plus you can make cake pops for any occasion, so in reality it is still relevant. Around the office I have somewhat of a reputation of being a baker. I had not brought anything in as of late so I thought Halloween would be the perfect excuse. Thanks to my froworker (friend-coworker) Linsey, I was turned on to the idea of cake pops.
